Dunkeld Cathedral Tower, Perthshire, Scotland. 21 June 2008. Join members of Dunkeld and Birnam Historical Society who, in agreement with Historic Scotland, have arranged for access to the tower of Dunkeld Cathedral. Normally closed to the public, this tour will visit the bell ringing room and take in the marvellous view from the roof, providing a unique perspective of the town. The visits will take place in groups of six to eight participants. The climb involves the ascent and descent of 150 steep and narrow spiral stairs with no handrail.
