Gromack, Perthshire, Scotland.
This is a variation of Gromack which refers to the amount of meal held between the tips of the fingers and thumb. This mixture is often given to someone who has come in frozen and wet from the hill. It is very similar to the Atholl Brose mixture except for the cream and the fact that it is made up to order rather than kept in a bottle.
1 tbsp oatmeal
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp whisky
Cream to taste
Mix all the ingredients to a supping consistency and eat with a teaspoon from a glass.
