Charles Rattray Ancestry Tour Scotland. This gravestone can be found in Abernyte Churchyard, Perthshire, Scotland. In memory of Charles Rattray, gardener at Abernyte House, who died 29th April, 1893, aged 78. And of Jessie McPherson, his wife, who died 6th December, 1893, aged 85. This stone is erected by the sons of the late Professor James Bannerman D.D. of Abernyte, with warm remembrance of twenty eight years of faithful and much valued services rendered to the family.
